1 box pineapple or lemon instant pudding and pie filling
1 can (15 oz.) crushed pineapple
1 cup sugar
3/4 stick butter
4 Tbsp flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare 3 cake pans. Blend all cake ingredients together in mixer then spread evenly in cake pans to bake.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Check center with toothpick.
While cake is baking, add ingredients for filling in pot to cook on stove. Cook until thick. When cake is done, allow it to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before removing from pan. Spread filling in between layers and on top of cooled cake.
