Mix egg yolks and ice water whipping very well with fork. Stir in flour and baking soda. Mixture will be lumpy.
Arrange Swiss cheese on 3 slices of bread, top with 2 slices of turkey on each. Place bread on turkey, top with American cheese and 2 slices of ham on each, ending with slice of bread. Be sure no meat or cheese hanging off sides. Flatten sandwiches with hand by pressing down firmly to flatten slightly.
Then cut sandwiches in half and dip in batter. Let excess batter drip off and fry sandwich in fryer, until golden brown and floats to top of oil about 7 minutes or so. Place as many halves in deep fat fryer as will allow.
When cooked, drain on paper towel. When all pieces are done and cool enough to touch, cut in half and sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with raspberry jam. I serve this with onion rings or fried mushrooms.
