Grind cabbage, onions and pepper (any kind of grinder). Put in large pan. Pour boiling water over cabbage, peppers and onions (just enough to cover everything). Let stand 5-8 minutes and then drain.
Add vinegar, sugar and salt. Mix well. Add tomatoes. Bring to boil. Remove from heat.
Pour in clean pint jars.
