Rosemary's Potato-Carrot Soup

Original recipe yields 1 serving
1/4 cup butter
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cups water
3 cups potatoes, diced
3 carrots; diced
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tsp celery salt
1 bay leaf
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/3 cups evaporated milk
4 Tbsp flour
1/2 cup water

1) Melt butter in soup pot; add onion and saute till brown.

2) Add 3 cups water, potatoes, carrots, bouillon cubes & spices. Simmer until potatoes are tender. Remove and discard bay leaf.

3) Stir in evaporated milk. Mix flour and 1/2 cup of water and add to soup to thicken.
