Combine Jell-O with 1 cup boiling water in small mixing bowl. Stir until dissolved, 5 min. Add 2 cups cold water. Mix in frozen strawberries so Jell-O will cool. Stir in Cool Whip.
Cut angel food cake into bit size pieces and add to Jell-O mixture. Pour into 9 X 13 pan.
Refrigerate 3 hours before serving. Optional - serve with additional Cool Whip and strawberries.
