3 lb ripe Bartlett pears
4 overripe bananas
1 cup white grape juice
2 tbs p. cinnamon
1/2 tsp clove
1/2 tsp allspice
Salt (pinch)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups warm water
1/2 cup vinegar

Peel and remove core and stems of pears. Add bananas, juice, spices, sugar, water, and vinegar.

Cook in large crock-pot on high for about 8 hrs. Slide lid off a little to let steam escape. When it starts to thicken, turn on low and let cook down till you get a thick spreadable fruit!

Put into freezer containers…will keep up to 1 yr.
