Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 3/4 cups warm water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup honey
3 Tbsp active dry yeast
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3 cups whole wheat flour
3 cups white flour (add 1/3 cup more, if needed)

Mix water, oil, honey, and yeast. Let stand 15 minutes. Stir in eggs and flour. Knead 7 minutes. If sticky, add extra flour until smooth.

Roll out until 3/4 in. thick. Use round cutter, 3-4 inches in diameter for hamburger buns. Or roll dough into 1 inch balls and place 3 in each cup of a oiled muffin tin. Let rise until doubled in size.

Bake at 425°F, for 15 minutes.
