Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 2- 12 cup muffin pans with cooking spray. In lg bowl cream the butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well after each addition. In med bowl, combine the flours, baking powder and salt. Stir into creamed mix just until moistened. Fold in cranberries and pecans.
Fill each muffin cup 3/4 full.
Bake for 20-25 min or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool 5 min, put on racks. (Serve warm with walnut cranberry butter, recipe follows.)
