Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar in a medium bowl. Then, add the eggs and vanilla and mix. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the flour, baking soda and salt to the medium bowl while stirring the ingredients. Then, add the old fashioned oats and chocolate chips and mix.
Take little balls of cookie dough and put them onto an ungreased pan.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
