Original recipe yields 1 serving
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3 cups flour
3 cups sugar
3 sticks butter
6 Tbsp cocoa
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup buttermilk
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts optional
Frosting:
1 pkg cream cheese
2 Tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 Tbsp milk

Mix baking powder, baking soda and flour in large bowl and set aside. Boil sugar, butter, cocoa and water for one minute. Add to dry mix and mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla, mix well.

Put in greased 9x12 cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 - 30 minutes.

Mix frosting ingredients. Frost cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.
