Original recipe yields 1 serving
2 lb ground beef or ground chuck
Hamburger seasoning
1 can chili with beans
1 can chili no beans
1 large jar salsa (mild or medium)
2 small handfuls minced onion
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
2 blocks cream cheese, softened
1 bag shredded mozzarella cheese
1 bag Italian shredded cheese

Brown hamburger or ground chuck till no longer pink. Season hamburger lightly with hamburger seasonings. Drain off grease when done.

Combine both cans of chili, full jar of salsa, minced onion, chili powder, and minced fresh garlic together in a large bowl. Add drained hamburger to mixture, Set aside.

In the bottom of a nonstick square pan take softened cream cheese and spread in somewhat thick layer (making sure not to have any large bumps). Pour hamburger mixture on top of cream cheese. Spread on pan till about 1/2 inch from top of pan.

Mix mozzarella and Italian cheese together (in separate bowl) and then spread on top of mixture till completely covered.

Bake in a 350 degrees F oven for about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. When cheese is melted take out of oven set aside for about 5-10 minutes to cool and settle.
