Pour 1/2 cup melted butter over potatoes. Mix cinnamon and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix with potatoes then pour in casserole.
Blend brown sugar, flour and (1/4 cup) butter with fork until crumbly and then add chopped nuts. Sprinkle on top of sweet potatoes.
Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
