Bake brownies as directed on pkg. Cut into 3" squares; place on baking sheet.
Top each brownie square with small scoop of ice cream & place in freezer 1 hr.
Preheat oven to 500 degrees F. Beat egg whites until foamy. Beat in sugar, 1 Tbsp. at a time; continue beating until stiff and glossy. Cover brownies & ice cream with meringue, sealing it to edge of brownies. Bake 3 to 4 min. or until meringue is light brown.
