Original recipe yields 1 serving
Strawberries (or any other fruit or fruit combination)
Soy milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
1 tablespoon light molasses, brown rice syrup, or maple syrup
1/2 cup sugar or Equal
1 tablespoon finely grated orange rind (optional)
2 tablespoons oat bran

1. If you are using fresh strawberries wash and hull them. Place the berries in a food processor or blender.

2. Add soy milk, lemon juice, orange juice concentrate, molasses or other sweetener, and orange rind and blend until smooth (about 1-2 minutes).

3. Add oat bran and ice and blend for another 5-10 seconds or until thickened. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass and serve.
