4 tablespoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup crushed pineapple in syrup
1 cup cold water
1 baked pie shell

Beat egg yolks; add sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Add pineapple and water. Cook in a double boiler until thickened.
