Original recipe yields 1 serving
1/2 lb ground sausage and
1/2 lb ground beef, browned and drained
1/2 cup minced onion
Garlic salt
Salt and pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
1 jar chunky spaghetti sauce
4 large bell peppers (red, green or yellow) tops cut off, seeded and rinsed
1 bag shredded mozzarella or Italian blended cheeses

Brown the meat with onion, garlic salt to taste, salt and pepper. Drain and mix in cooked rice with 1 cup spaghetti sauce.

Boil peppers in salt water for about 5 min. Stuff with meat and rice mixture and put in a casserole dish. Pour over remaining spaghetti sauce.

Cook in microwave for about 4 or 5 min or till peppers are tender. Top with cheese and cook in microwave until cheese is melted.
