Pork Chops and Cheesy Potatoes

Original recipe yields 1 serving
1/2 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom
1 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
4 pork chops
1 Tbsp cooking oil
5 cups potatoes
8 slices American cheese

In a small bowl mix soup, milk, salt, pepper, and onion. Slice potatoes, while frying pork chops in oil to brown on both sides

In a 9x9 dish, spread a layer of sliced potatoes, then pour the mixture to almost cover the potatoes, then a layer of cheese. Repeat one more time. When pork chops are cooked, place on paper towel to drain off the oil. Then place the pork chops on potatoes and cover with foil.

Cook for 1 hour at 350 degrees F covered, and then 30 minutes uncovered.
