2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1 2/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup oil
2/3 cup buttermilk, divided
Chopped nuts - optional
1 1/4 cups ripe banana, mashed
3 eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sift dry ingredients together

Add oil, 1/3 cup buttermilk, chopped nuts and bananas. Beat for 2 minutes. Add eggs and remainder 1/3 cup buttermilk, beat for 2 minutes.

Pour into greased and floured into 13 x 9 baking dish.

Bake for 45-50 minutes.
