1 loaf white or wheat bread
Smooth peanut butter
Jelly-your favorite flavor
Whole milk
Large eggs
2 cups self rising flour
1 cup white sugar
Powdered sugar

Trim the crusts and smear a thin coating of peanut butter on your bread. Add a spoon of jelly and spread it out over the top of the peanut butter. Put your peanut butter and jelly sandwich together and crimp your edges with the tines of a fork.

Heat deep fryer to 350 degrees F. Mix together milk and eggs and beat well. Mix together flour and white sugar. Dip your sandwich quickly into egg mixture and then into flour mixture.

Gently add your breaded peanut butter and jelly sandwich into your deep fryer and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
