Heat oven to 425ºF. In a large saucepan, bring water to boil and add noodles from package. Cook until tender. Drain and set aside.
In same pan, melt butter on medium heat, add seasoning from mac and cheese package and, add jalapeno and add chicken. Cook 4-5 minutes until jalapeno slightly softened and chicken warmed through. Slowly stir in milk. On low heat, slowly stir in cheese sauce, like on package directions. When sauce combined, add noodles and stir to coat.
Place mixture into 1-1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumb topping and shredded cheese. Place in oven for 10 minutes until cheese thoroughly melted.
