Original recipe yields 1 serving
2 whole eggs
1/4 cup milk
Seasoning salt & black pepper to taste
3/4 cup seasoned croutons or bread stuffing
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
5 lb ground beef
16 oz Jimmy Dean Premium Pork Sage Sausage
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (optional)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine first six ingredients in large mixing bowl. Allow croutons/stuffing to soak in egg mixture until thoroughly moistened, approx. 10 minutes.

Add ground beef and sausage to egg mixture. Knead all ingredients together until thoroughly mixed.

Place mixture in greased 9x13 baking dish. Create a 2x3 inch hole in the middle of the mixture to collect grease while baking. Cover dish with foil.

Bake for 1 hour or until meat reaches 160°F and is no longer pink inside. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes before serving.

Optional: Heat undiluted mushroom soup on stove or in microwave until hot. Serve as a gravy over side dish of mashed potatoes.
