1/8 cup butter or margarine
2 cups diced potatoes
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced onion
8 cans diced clams
1 qt heavy whipping cream

In large pot melt butter and add potatoes, celery and onion - stirring constantly on medium heat until soft.

Add clams and heavy whipping cream until it boils make sure you stir it constantly so milk doesn’t burn to the bottom of pot.

Serve with crackers or garlic bread.
