Prepare yellow cake mix as directed. Pour in the bottom of a ungreased 9x13 baking pan.
Mix 2 cups chopped rhubarb in a bowl with 1 cup sugar. Put rhubarb on top of the cake mix. Pour cream over the top.
Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Let cool and top with Cool Whip and serve.
