Make pudding as directed on box, put in fridge to set.
Drain pineapple well in a colander and mix with Cool Whip in a bowl.
Spread pudding in bottom of prepared pie crust, then spread pineapple/Cool Whip mixture on top of pudding. Chill before serving.
