In 1 Tbsp. hot butter, saute onion until golden. Combine cream, 3/4 cup water and bread crumbs. Mix onion, meats, eggs, salt, pepper, allspice and cloves, mix well. Shape into meatballs.
In 2 Tbsp. hot butter, saute meatballs until brown on all sides, adding more butter if needed.
Remove all but 2 Tbsp. drippings from skillet. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually stir in cream and 1 1/2 cups water, bring to boil, stirring. Add salt, pepper and seasoning. Add meatballs, heat gently 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
