Beat the softened butter and sugars together until blended. Then add one egg at a time and beat until mixed. Then add vanilla and mix. Then take your baking soda and sift it in your flour. Then slowly add in your flour until blended. Then add in your chocolate chips until mixed.
Drop by teaspoon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for 10 min or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 2 min then transfer onto a wire cooling rack.
