Dry Ingredients:
1 box (15 oz.) raisin bran cereal or just bran
5 cups whole wheat flour
OR
4 1/2 cups whole wheat flour if using flaxseed meal
2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cloves
**3 cups white sugar or brown sugar
5 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup ground flaxseed
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
****1/2 cup walnut
Wet Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 qt buttermilk
1 cup canola oil
2 tsp vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Stir wet ingredients in another bowl. Combine wet to dry ingredients. Mix well.

3. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full.
