Mix sauce and cooked meat; set aside. Mix ricotta cheese and egg until well blended.
Spoon 1 cup of the sauce mixture on bottom of 12x8-inch baking dish. Layer 1/2 of the lasagna noodles, 1/2 of the ricotta cheese mixture, 1/3 of the shredded cheese and 1/2 of the remaining sauce mixture in dish. Repeat layers, ending with sauce. Sprinkle with remaining shredded cheese.
Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Variation: To make without cooking lasagna noodles first, add 1/4 cup water to sauce and meat mixture. Assemble layers as directed, using uncooked noodles instead of cooked noodles. Cover baking dish tightly with foil. Increase baking time to 1 hour. Let stand as directed.
