What You Need
Original recipe yields 16 servings
36 OREO Cookies, finely crushed
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 cups boiling water
1 pkg. (6 oz.) JELL-O Lime Flavor Gelatin
2 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
2 Tbsp. white decorating icing

Reserve 1 cup cookie crumbs for garnish. Mix remaining crumbs and butter; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch dish. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Add boiling water to gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add ice cream; whisk until melted. Stir in COOL WHIP; pour over crust. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
Spoon reserved cookie crumbs into football shape on top of dessert. Use decorating icing to draw laces on football.
At 16 servings, this festive dessert makes enough to feed a crowd at your next sport-themed party.

How to Thaw COOL WHIP
Place unopened tub of COOL WHIP Whipped Topping in the refrigerator. For complete thawing, allow these times: 4 hours for 8-oz. tub, 5 hours for 12-oz. tub and 6 hours for 16-oz. tub. Do not thaw COOL WHIP in the microwave.
