Mix cream cheese, sour cream and salad dressing mix with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Stir in broccoli and 1-1/2 cups of the cheddar cheese.
Spoon into 9-inch pie plate.
Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with bread, crackers or assorted cut-up vegetables. Garnish with blanched broccoli flowerets and red pepper strips, if desired.
Note: Microwave: Prepare as directed. Spoon into 9-inch microwavable pie plate. Microwave on HIGH 6 to 7 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring every 3 minutes. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese. Microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
