Original recipe yields 6 servings
1/2 cup MIRACLE WHIP or MIRACLE WHIP Light Dressing
1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
1/4 cup honey
3 tsp. chili powder, divided
1 tsp. ground black pepper, divided
1 tsp. ground red pepper, divided
1 tsp. salt, divided
1 lb. ground beef
1 green pepper, cut into chunks
1 onion, sliced
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup sliced yellow squash
1 cup sliced zucchini
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Mix MIRACLE WHIP, barbecue sauce, honey, 2 teaspoons of the chili powder and 1/2 teaspoon each of the ground black pepper, red pepper and salt. Set aside.

Mix meat, remaining 1 teaspoon chili powder and remaining 1 teaspoon each of the ground black pepper, red pepper and salt. Shape into 12 meatballs.

Brown meatballs in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Set aside. In same skillet, cook and stir green pepper, onion, mushrooms, squash, zucchini and pineapple on medium heat 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low.

Stir in reserved dressing mixture and meatballs; cover. Simmer 15 minutes. Stir in parsley. Serve over hot cooked pasta, if desired.
