Beat margarine with peanut butter until smooth. Gradually beat in sugar; continue beating until light and fluffy. Beat in egg. Add flour mixture alternately with milk, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Add vanilla.
Using 1 teaspoon of dough for each, shape into balls, then flatten with glass. Press cereal on top of dough. Place about 2 inches apart on cookie sheets which have been sprayed with no stick cooking spray. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove and cool on wire racks.
