Experiment with our version of a classic Italian dish, Pasta Puttanesca. Made with refrigerated linguine, Pasta Puttanesca is ready in 25 minutes.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
1 pkg. (9 oz.) refrigerated linguine
1 tsp. olive oil
1/4 cup chopped onions
1-3/4 cups CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
1/4 cup sliced black olives
2 Tbsp. capers
1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/2 cup POLLY-O Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Let's Make It
Cook pasta as directed on package.
Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions; cook and stir 3 min. or until tender. Add pasta sauce, olives, capers and crushed red pepper; mix well. Reduce heat to medium; simmer 3 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
Drain pasta; place in large bowl. Add sauce; toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese.
Cover and refrigerate any leftovers. To reheat, place in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 30 sec. or until heated through, adding small amount of broth or water to moisten, if necessary.
For Spicier Pasta
Increase crushed red pepper to 1/4 tsp.
