Your guests will have so much fun eating these hot dogs, pineapples and meatballs simmered in BBQ sauce. It's a great recipe for when cooking for a crowd.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 40 servings
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup finely chopped onion s
1 can (20 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained
1 pkg. (16 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Wieners, cut into 1-inch lengths
1 jar (12 oz.) apricot preserves
1 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

Let's Make It
Mix meat and onions; shape into 24 meatballs, using about 1 Tbsp. meat mixture for each.
Cook in large skillet on medium heat 15 to 20 min. or until evenly browned and done (160ºF), turning after 10 min.; drain.
Add remaining ingredients; simmer 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Serve on frilled toothpicks, if desired.
Prepare using peach preserves.
Add 1 chopped tomato with the remaining ingredients.
When making meatballs, use a small ice cream scoop with a release mechanism to shape the meat instead of your hands. Just spray the inside of the scoop with cooking spray, then use it to shape the meat into balls. By not using your hands, you are decreasing the chance of spreading bacteria from the raw meat to your work area.
