Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
Stir sugar into chocolate mixture. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, with electric mixer on low speed until completely mixed. Add vanilla. Stir in 1/2 cup of the flour, baking soda and salt. Beat in remaining 2 cups flour alternately with water until well blended. Pour into baking pans.
Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans. Cool completely on wire racks. Fill and frost cake layers with BAKER'S ONE BOWL Fudge Frosting, if desired.
