Preheat oven to 325°F. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Place 1/2 cup of the chopped chocolate in heavy saucepan; cook on very low heat just until chocolate is melted, stirring constantly. Gradually add to cream cheese mixture, stirring until well blended. Add egg; mix well. Pour into crust.
Bake 35 min. Cool. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.
Place remaining 1/2 cup chopped chocolate and the butter in saucepan; cook on very low heat just until chocolate is melted, stirring constantly. Arrange strawberries on top of pie; drizzle with the chocolate mixture. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
