Green beans simmered with garlic, onion and Italian-seasoned tomatoes are topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses for a special side dish.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 6 servings
1 Tbsp. oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pkg. (16 oz.) frozen whole green beans
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) Italian-style diced tomatoes, drained
1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/4 cup KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese

Let's Make It
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is crisp-tender.
Add beans, tomatoes and seasonings; mix lightly. Cover. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 15 minutes or until beans are tender and mixture is heated through.
Sprinkle with cheeses; cover. Cook an additional 2 minutes or until cheeses are melted.
Substitute trimmed fresh green beans for the frozen beans. Decrease cooking time to 8 to 10 minutes or until beans are tender.
Sprinkle with OSCAR MAYER Real Bacon Bits just before serving.
