Everything tastes better served kabob-style! Exhibit A is this garlic shrimp that's been marinated, skewered and grilled to perfection.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
1 env. GOOD SEASONS Garlic & Herb Dressing Mix
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
3 Tbsp. dry white wine
1 lb. large shrimp, peeled, deveined
8 oz. whole mushrooms
1 onion, cut into wedges

Let's Make It
Mix dressing mix, oil, vinegar and wine until well blended. Remove 1/4 cup of the dressing mixture; set aside.
Thread shrimp and vegetables alternately on skewers; place in shallow dish. Pour remaining dressing mixture over kabobs; cover. Refrigerate 30 min. to 1 hour to marinate. Drain; discard marinade.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill kabobs 3 to 4 min. on each side or until shrimp turn pink, turning and brushing occasionally with the reserved 1/4 cup dressing mixture.
The size of a shrimp is indicated by the number per pound. Large shrimp yield 21 to 30 pieces per pound.
Cajun Shrimp Kabobs
Prepare as directed, substituting bourbon for the wine, adding 1 tsp. Creole seasoning and 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce to the prepared dressing and substituting 1 large bell pepper, cut into chunks, for the mushrooms.
