Warm up the weekend with our Cranberry Bread Recipe. This Cranberry Bread Recipe is just the right amount of sweet thanks to the orange juice.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 16 servings
2 cups flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
3/4 cup orange juice
2 Tbsp. oil
1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

Let's Make It
Heat oven to 375°F.
Combine flour, sugars and baking powder. Whisk egg, orange juice and oil in large bowl until blended. Add flour mixture; stir just until moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.) Stir in cranberries and nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.
Bake 50 min. to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove bread from pan to wire rack; cool completely.
Make it Easy
For best results, wrap cooled loaf of bread in foil and store overnight before slicing the next day.
Stir 1 tsp. orange zest into the egg mixture before using as directed.
Omit the nuts.
