What You Need
Original recipe yields 6 servings
2-1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup
3 Tbsp. MINUTE Tapioca
1 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts, toasted
1 tsp. vanilla

Let's Make It
Beat egg, milk and syrup in large saucepan with wire whisk until well blended. Add tapioca and sugar; mix well. Let stand 5 min.
Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in walnuts and vanilla.
Cool 20 min. (Pudding thickens as it cools.) Serve warm or chilled. Stir before serving.
How to Toast Nuts
Spread nuts in single layer on baking sheet. Bake at 350°F for 5 to 7 min. or until lightly toasted.
