1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 cup water
1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 pkg. (20 oz.) frozen stew vegetables, thawed
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen corn, thawed
1 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen cut green beans, thawed

Melt butter in 3-qt. saucepan on medium heat. Add flour; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Gradually add milk, stirring until well blended. Stir in water. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

Add cheese; cook until cheese is completely melted, stirring constantly. Stir in remaining ingredients; cover. Reduce heat to medium-low.

Simmer 10 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
