Original recipe yields 12 servings
2 cups yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup flour
1-1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
2 egg s
1 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
1 can (8-3/4 oz.) whole kernel corn, well drained
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped red or green bell pepper

Mix cornmeal, flour and baking powder in large bowl. Beat eggs in small bowl; stir in salad dressing, milk and ground pepper. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.) Stir in remaining ingredients; mix until moistened.

Spoon batter into greased or paper-lined muffin pan, filling each cup 2/3 full.

Bake at 400 Degrees F for 30 minutes.
