These juicy grilled burgers are served in onion rolls with a flavorful sauce of caramelized onions, garlic and steak sauce.

3/4 cup finely chopped onion s
6 large cloves garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup A.1. Original Sauce
1-1/2 lb. ground beef
6 onion sandwich roll s, split
6 lettuce leaves

Heat grill to medium heat.

Cook and stir onions and garlic in margarine in medium skillet on medium heat 5 min. or until tender but not browned; stir in sugar. Simmer on low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, shape meat into 6 patties. Grill 5 min. on each side or until done (160°F).

Stir steak sauce into onion mixture. Fill rolls with lettuce, onion mixture and burgers.
