1/2 cup dry Italian-style bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1 pkg. (8 oz.) CRACKER BARREL Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, cut into 8 slices

Let's Make It
Beat egg in shallow dish. Mix bread crumbs and crushed pepper in separate shallow dish.
Cut cheese slices diagonally in half. Dip, 1 at a time, in egg; gently shake off excess egg then dip cheese in crumb mixture, turning to evenly coat both sides of each. Place on prepared baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
Broil, 6 inches from heat, 1 to 2 min. or until cheese is softened.
Coat cheese and broil as directed. Meanwhile, sprinkle your favorite crackers with green onion slices, roasted red pepper strips or chopped artichoke hearts. Top with the warm cheese wedges.
Serve with warmed pizza or pasta sauce.
