4 medium chayote s (about 2-1/2 lb.), peeled, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/4 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. flour
1 cup 2% or whole milk
1/2 cup canned evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

Bring 2 qt. water to boil in large saucepan. Add chayotes; boil 6 min. or until tender. Drain chayotes, then cover to keep warm.

Heat dressing in medium saucepan. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 3 min. Add flour; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Cook 2 min., stirring constantly. Add 2% milk, evaporated milk and seasonings; mix well. Cook 3 min., stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low. Add sour cream; stir until well blended. (Do not boil.) Remove from heat.

Place chayotes in serving bowl. Add the sour cream sauce; toss to coat.

Stir chopped cilantro into the sour cream sauce before tossing with the chayotes.
