Be the life of the party when you show up with Peanut Butter Cookie Bars. Peanut Butter Cookie Bars are laced with chocolate and are easy to make.

Original recipe yields 16 servings
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, coarsely chopped

Heat oven to 350°F.

Combine flour, oats and baking soda.

Beat butter, peanut butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in chocolate.

Spread onto bottom of 9-inch square pan sprayed with cooking spray.

Bake 20 to 25 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
