Orange flavor drink mix gives these easy homemade muffins both beautiful color and citrus appeal. Serve as part of breakfast or anytime for a snack.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 12 servings
1-3/4 cups flour
1/3 cup TANG Orange Flavor Drink Mix
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup oil

Let's Make It
Heat oven to 400°F.
Mix first 6 ingredients in large bowl. Beat egg, milk and oil with whisk until well blended. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. (Batter will still be lumpy.)
Spoon into 12 greased muffin cups, filling each cup 2/3 full.
Bake 15 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
To freeze, wrap completely cooled muffins in foil and place in freezer-weight resealable plastic bag. Remove from bag when ready to serve. Reheat foil-wrapped muffins at 350°F for 15 to 20 min. or just until warmed.
Batter can be baked in 12 ice cream cones for 25 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
