1 lb. (16 oz.) VELVEETA®, cut up
1/2 lb. (8 oz.)Colby cheese, cut up
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 cans (4 oz. each)chopped green chiles
1 Tbsp. salsa
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk

In a large skillet, melt the shortening over low heat. Add VELVEETA, Colby cheese and garlic powder. Stir constantly over very low heat so the mixture does not burn. When the VELVEETA and Colby cheese are melted, add green chilies and salsa, stirring to combine. Add evaporated milk and stir over low heat. Do not let mixture boil! Serve dip with tortilla chips or as a sauce on tacos or hamburgers.
