What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
2 cans (15 oz. each) white beans, rinsed
2 cups cut fresh green beans (1 inch pieces)
6 plum tomatoes (1 lb.), chopped
1/2 cup KRAFT Lite House Italian Dressing
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
2 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Combine beans, tomatoes and dressing.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
Top with basil and cheese just before serving.
Season with freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Substitute 2 cups steamed cut fresh asparagus for the green beans.
If you prefer the green beans to be more tender, quickly cook or blanch them by adding the beans to pan of boiling water; let stand 2 min. Drain, then immediately add the beans to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let stand until beans are completely cooled.
