Here's a dessert hack our non-bakers will like! It starts with chocolate chip cookies—and ends as custom-decorated, chocolate-dipped deliciousness.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 18 servings
1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
18 chocolate chip cookies (2 inch)
1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Nuts
1/2 cup BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut

Let's Make It
Microwave chocolate in small microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
Dip half of each cookie into chocolate, then roll in nuts or coconut. Place on wax paper-covered tray.
Let stand at least 1 hour or until chocolate is firm.
Variation - Chocolate-Dipped Frozen Bananas
Omit cookies. Melt chocolate as directed. Cut each of 4 bananas crosswise into 4 pieces. Insert wooden pop stick into each banana piece. Dip in chocolate, then roll in nuts or coconut as directed. Place on wax paper-covered tray and freeze until bananas are frozen. Store in freezer until ready to serve. Makes 16 servings, 1 banana chunk each.
